A bigger than life sound is enveloping my ears and all I can think is, who? Who is the nemesis? Who is your nemesis? Such a deep song that it seems much shorter than it really is because my eyes are closed the whole time. Ivan uses his melodic voice to get things started. Then hits you hard with Jeremy leading the way. My Nemesis starts from an old boom box or cassette walkman from the sound of it. The end finishes strong and slams you right into the next track with some pent up rage which, as you will see, is very fitting. You will get deep into this track and the section from 2:20-2:53 will have you ready to punch someone in the face. The flow of the lyrics are wrapped up tight in the music. Asking the question, “Will it ever be enough for you?” It’s an anthem for those who always feel they have come short in the eyes of someone close. Starting right in your face, Ain’t My Last Dance seems to come in like a steamroller.

The beat is so memorable and Ivan kills the lyrics as usual and really makes you feel the words. We are who we are, regardless of the hype. Trying to wash away the lies and bullshit of the world. Wash It All Away starts off slow and builds to the lyrical intro. This song spins off of Jekyll and Hyde and speaks right to me, because most of the time, it’s how I feel. As the rest of the crew gets the head banging, Chris brings deep low notes killing the bass and Jeremy perfectly adds to that bass line. Ivan starts out setting the stage for the demon to come out. Jekyll and Hyde is so overplayed however, 5FDP freshen it up a bit with their makeover. Oh RA! It’s a quick but powerful song and gets me in the mood to just run through the woods for some reason. Much like the pit, we protect our own while taking down everyone else. You just want to fight and cover the guy in front of you. 5FDP albums always seem to be an anthem packed barrage of Armed Forces songs. The tempo is on point and the hooks are many. We start off with, Got Your Six a killer opener with Ivan and his distinct voice and style. With that said, let’s have some fun with this killer album! There was no way to resist the temptation and my life is rather chaotic at the moment. I regret to inform you that I have broken that model.
